This upper boot is a direct replacement for the factory hot side / driver side intercooler pipe on the 2004.5-2016 Duramax LLY/LBZ/LMM/LML Silverado / Sierra 2500/3500HD 6.6L. It comes off the turbo outlet and meets the intercooler pipe on the driver side. Both t bolt clamps are included as shown in the photos!
Even if yours hasn't ripped or torn yet, this is something you'll want to grab and stick in the glovebox for when it does happen! This is not a standard size that can be purchased at the auto parts store! GM does not sell the boot separately and makes you purchase the whole pipe, which has been discontinued in most applications from 04.5-16.
