1.4" Drop Shackles for 2011-2019 Silverado Sierra 2500/3500HD

This lowering shackle set will fit any GMC or Chevy 2500/3500HD pickup truck from 2011-2024 gas or diesel. ***For the 2020-2024’s we highly suggest looking at our other listing for the 3/4” drop shackles specifically designed and made for those trucks! The 1.4” will drop it more than most prefer and does require a small ear to be trimmed off the pinch weld however they can be used on the 2020+ trucks.***

These can be used on the 3500HD single wheel or dual rear wheel application as they share the same shackle as the 2500HD. The difference between the 2500 and 3500 is, the 3500 has a set of helper springs stacked on top of the traditional 2500 leaf pack. During the installation of these shackles for 3500HD trucks, there is an additional step needed to remove the spacer that separates the helper springs from the leaf pack. This gives the helper springs additional space to not rest against the bump stops with the truck being lowered.
These 1.4" shackles will not work on the 1500 Pickup unfortunately.
These shackles have been designed specifically for people who want to lower the rear of the truck without having to modify the pinch weld or bed seam on any 11-19 GM 2500/3500! **These are 100% drop in, no modifications required to the truck!** It will lower the rear 1.4”. Anything over 1.5" would require bending, cutting or hammering of the bed seam since it would interfere with the top of the leaf pack which could potentially create cancerous rust or structural integrity. The purpose is to allow the maximum amount of drop in the rear, and not have to make any modifications to the vehicle. It truly utilizes the full amount of space between the top of the leaf pack and the bottom of the bed.
A great alternative to expensive leveling and lift kits! As seen in the pictures, all trucks have reduced rake by lowering the rear 1.4" and raising the torsion bars roughly 1". **(Please keep in mind, it is completely up to you if you want to raise your front end.)** This will not affect ride quality at all and makes the truck look much better without the ridiculous rake that the factory height provides. Customers using these shackles with tires as large as 35" on factory wheels but anywhere from 32"-34" tires are ideal.
Also, if you want to run airbags in the rear, It is required that the airbags do not have internal jounce stops.
These are made much stronger than the factory shackles and have a thicker metal material used for heavy duty use and longevity. They have a powder coat satin finish for a long and durable life to prevent rusting in those harsh winter environments!
The bushings are rubber encased and pressed in. Meaning it's a one piece, that has a rubber outside and a metal tube inside for the bolt. **Same type of rubber durometer you would find on factory.** This feature is key when maintaining a smooth ride and durability. The materials used, and bushings in these are far superior than what comes in most aftermarket shackles. That is why this shackle is considered a "premium shackle" and separates itself from the rest. They are hand crafted and made right here in Pennsylvania Installation is roughly two hours and can be done in your driveway.
