2011 LML Low Pressure Line

Updated: Jan 2, 2022

The 2011 Duramax had a different style low pressure system than the 2012-2016 Duramax LML. Our John C Garage low pressure line for the 2011 consists of the following:

  • Long section of 1/2" Fuel hose that can be cut to length

  • x4 worm gear hose clamps

  • 1 Tee fitting with hose and fuel injection style clamps

  • Long section of heat shielding

The full low pressure system can removed from the valley of the engine, and trace it back to the driver side of the engine. You will find that there is a 90 degree 1/2" rubber hose that goes to a metal line from the fuel tank on the drive side just above the steering linkage. That is where you can stop with removing the old lines, and where our new line will start. Please see below for example of how the line should be routed. The heat shielding can be cut to length and and slid over the 1/2" rubber hose to keep the heat off the rubber line on the driver side. The worm gear clamps will be used at the metal line where the rubber line starts, one of each side of the tee, and then one ending at the CP3 inlet fitting.
